About Monarch Airlines

Since 1968, Monarch has been dedicated to providing customers with value, quality and choice. Monarch's fleet now features 32 of the world's most modern jet aircraft, and each year they fly over six million people to more than 100 destinations worldwide.
Many of the airlines who were in business back in the 1960s have long since disappeared, but Monarch has always been quick to respond to changes in the market, and believes in finding ways to give customers exactly what they want.

Our Role

With over 20 years of experience designing magazines (as well as websites) the team at Craft were perfectly positioned to set the style for Monarch's in-flight magazine. Going beyond the usual slew of thinly veiled catalogues for duty free perfume, Monarch Explorer was envisioned as a tool to add character to the Monarch brand and to define it's position within the market place.
Flavour and interest is added by editorialising the content, subtly reinforcing Monarch's core services and introducing new ones. Amazing travel photography and quirky layout create excitement, drawing readers in to the experience. And maybe even selling a few bottle of duty free perfume along the way.
